Bonnie, This is really great! I have never actually explored a blog before, so it's taking me some time to figure out how to get around. I'm starting from now and working backwards. How rare and wonderful to get to discover what is hidden in the house....the stories. Will you and Jeff write things as the new house goes up (in the walls I mean)? Are you keeping the historical bits or letting them go with the pieces of house that are being re-used?
This is truly a wonderful process. Thank you so much for taking the time to share it!
Vivienne We're hoping to sign our walls in much the same way with our builder. We have the two old pieces of wood, what treasures! Not sure what to do with them, but we will incorporate them into the house. Any thoughts?
Ps if you want to see something cute, click your mouse anywhere in the fish bowl! Enjoy!
Hey Bonn, Great blog. It must be so hard to see the old house come down. I know you could wait for things to start happening...a little bittersweet. Thanks for saving the weath..can't believe it's still in one piece. We will must definitely stay tuned for more news from Camano. Love you guys Judy
Jude, You bet, I had to preserve the wreath. Like the little owl that my friend Shelley made out of shells and stuff, it's part of our life. The wreath needs a little work though... Another visit, in 2011!
